Sayaka Ganz: Reclaimed Creations (Dec. 4)

Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum

Exhibit runs: December 4 – February 21

Artist Talk: January 5, 5:30 p.m.

Sayaka uses mostly common household items to create animal forms with a sense of movement and self-awareness. Plastics are the most common materials used because of the variety of curvilinear forms and colors available. She manipulates and assembles them together as if they are brush strokes to create an effect similar to a Van Gogh painting in three dimensions.

With public support from the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency.
